Keen Teens is a unique opportunity for students interested in theatre to work with professional playwrights, directors, designers and technicians and produce the World Premiere of 3 short plays, written exclusively for Keen Teens, at Off-Broadway’s Theatre Row Theatres.
We have commissioned three 30 minute plays that Playscripts will publish this spring and begin to license out to high schools around the country for future productions. For our World Premiere productions, we audition high school students from across the city, who will learn how to put a play together as they work with professional artists.
Students who are cast in these new plays will participate in a
12-week rehearsal process beginning the week of March 1
and continuing once a week, every week after school.
The plays will be performed at The Kirk Theatre for 5 performances on May 28 – May 30, 2010.

AUDITION INFORMATION
If you are a high school student in grades 9 through 12 and can get to midtown Manhattan once a week for rehearsals after school, than please stop by. You must be available for the rehearsal process and for our performances May 28 thru May 30.
